Our General Conditions, Tips & Requests:

We provide towels and linen and they are changed every week, however, we ask that you take your own beach towels for the swimming pool or excursions. The pool man/caretaker and cleaning lady come before guest arrival to prepare the house and a light cleaning is done at the end of each week. If needed the man will come to control the pool during the week as well.

When you leave the house at the end of your stay we request a couple of things. Although the cleaning lady comes to prepare the house before each guest, it is not a part of her job to dispose of all the rubbish so would you please take it along and dump it in the roadside bins which you will pass on the way to the village. There are also differently coloured recepticles for recycling plastic, glass and paper. It would also be greatly appreciated if you could just wash any dishes and leave them to dry before you vacate.

A simple barbecue is provided. Please do not place it on the terrace where there is potential danger, take the usual care and do not dispose of ash and burned coals in the garden. The cellar (the original mill race) will remain locked as it is full of general maintenance and gardening equipment.

We now have wifi at Casa Molino so one can use the Internet and make calls via Skype or similar on laptops and play games and DVDs on your own devices. We do not provide TV, radio or landline phone at the house and mobile reception is unfortunately very poor due to all the hills, however, mobile reception is fine in the village and our two local bars also offer free wifi.

I would suggest the shutters are closed on the sunny side of the house with the windows closed to keep the interior cool. There are mosquito screens on all the windows. Please do be careful not to accidentally poke a hole in the net screen though!

As the house is in the countryside with nearest village two or three kilometres away you will definitely need to have a car. Driving along the ‘white’ unpaved roads in summer is fine, however, sudden braking can result in a skid so do take care. The turn in from the ‘white’ road leading to Casa Molino is quite sharp and steep but it is easily managed.
